CSI Enterprise is an immersive, STEM, career initiative project that is relevant to the 21st Century curriculum; building on pupil’s science, career and skills capital.
We educate young people through the delivery of interactive and engaging forensic events using real life contexts. Students will have the opportunity to be ‘suited and booted’, wearing overshoes and gloves, using real equipment and utilising learnt scientific methods to collect evidence and interpret its conclusions. They will learn about fingerprints, footwear, trace evidence, DNA and blood spatter interpretation (age appropriate).
We cater across several key stages included in: Primary, Secondary and 16-plus, enabling us to support students wherever they are in their educational journey and raise their interest and attainment. When young people move into the 14-16 phase of their education, it is important that they build upon the foundations laid by KS 1, 2 and 3, and that they have the opportunities to experience a more ‘personalised curriculum’; Enterprise is recognised as a crucial part of this.
Raising young people’s aspirations and promoting access to career pathways.
